What I Had For My Birthday

Lets make it very brief cause I'm too sleepy for this shall we? My 19th birthday was on the 19th November 09.

Woke up late as usual. Got a call from my parents, wishing me happy birthday straight from Saudi Arabia (They are performing their Haj there). That was really a good start to my birthday.

A little later in the afternoon, my little sister gave me a remote control helicopter, a scaled model of BELL 222, the on featured in the series "AIR WOLF". Yes the exact same replica of AIR WOLF. Still learning how to play with it, as it is very complicated. Crashed a few time. Need more practice on how to maneuver it. Thank you for the birthday present YAN!

In the evening, got a call from my aunt back in my hometown Teluk Intan, wishing me happy birthday and told me that Sexy Apple's paint job is a success.

Later on, my elder sister took me to Subang Parade for a Dinner-Birthday Treat. Ate at Nandos.

On Saturday, 21st November. My gf planned a Picnic-cum-Surprise Birthday Party with my pals Amirul, Faizal and Naqi near Subang Jaya's Lake View. It was the best birthday surprise ever. Unfortunately I was fasting. That was quite a bomb shell for them. Whatever it is, it was FUN! we sat, we ate (except me) and chatted/ laughed. AND AMIRUL'S MOM BAKED ME SOME OF HER FAMOUS CUP CAKES! THANK YOU AUNTY AND AMIRUL! Gf' made some bun sausages. THANK YOU SAYANG! and she gave me a drawing as a birthday present :D sayang, sumpah cantik gila you lukis. And I'm dumbfounded on where to put the picture.

Conclusion; It was the best birthday celebration by far.

P/s: It would have been better if my parents were around. Can't wait for them to come back.

Guard and Gated in SUBANG JAYA

Gated and Guarded Community. More and more of this are seen as a norm in today’s everyday lives. Is it relevant or is it not relevant? I’ve been living in Subang Jaya since I was born, and now I’m 19 years old. The housing estates in Subang Jaya are looking more and more like Mogadishu in the movie Black Hawk Down. Barricades are set up to block most of the roads by private security company around the housing estate, and getting from place to place in that housing area alone is a fuss, as you need to go around the perimeter before you meet a road without barricade set up to block the road, and no more shortcuts. Doesn’t this look familiar, like how the Somalians did to block the US army from entering Mogadishu in Black Hawk Down? Why are we doing this to ourselves? If we are in Somalia, this would mean, us blocking ourselves into Mogadishu.This is the scenario that we are facing in Subang Jaya, and I assume some Malaysians.

With the rising number of crimes rates, yes, this Gated and Guarded system is plausible. This is due to the factors of urbanization. No one wants their homes being break in to. So that’s why they opt for Gated and Guarded system, where the perimeter of the housing estate is fenced and at every entry to the housing estate will be guarded by a guard. But, this is not the reality of it in Subang Jaya, where most of the citizens here are selfish, and ignorant towards the law. They would hire a security company, fenced up the whole perimeter, and would block MOST ENTRIES into the housing estates, BARRICADE SOME ROADS IN THE HOUSING ESTATE and orders the guard to STOP, CHECK AND QUESTION every visitor, before they are allowed to enter the area.

Mind you, these roads and entries that are blocked are public roads. We motorist, pay for the road tax for our vehicle every year to the government, and why are we being denied the rights to use this public roads which belongs to the government not the residents, freely and without obstruction? And who gave the guards rights to STOP, CHECK AND QUESTION the motorist on public roads? Certainly these guards are not working with the police force nor the Road and Transport Department. The company may be authorized as a security company by the Home Affairs Ministry, but they do not have such power to STOP, CHECK AND QUESTION motorist on public roads. These power lies exclusively towards the Polis Diraja Malaysia and the Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalanraya (JPJ), as it is the public road we are talking about here. These guards do only have power to do so in PRIVATE LANDS; like country homes or condominiums and likes, that the roads in the area do not belong to the maintenance of the government. The ‘Selangor Housing and Property Board and the local authorities’ have laid down some guidelines on this matter and I still wonder why people still chose to act ignorantly. The guidelines states that;

-iv. Guard house without barrier are allowed and the location SHOULD NOT OBSTRUCT TRAFFIC (situated at road shoulder only). Still, these guard house are built with automated beams or the guards themselves, as ordered by the resident to put a cone in the middle of the road to OBSTRUCT THE TRAFFIC, so that they could STOP, CHECK AND QUESTION every visitors into their housing estate.

Concerning the barricade entries in to the housing estates. This certainly is a DENIAL OF RIGHTS towards the legal motorist who had paid the Road Tax of their vehicle to use these Public Roads. These acts are selfish, and a cheapskate approach. These residents would somehow order some MAJOR ENTRIES to be blocked so that there would only be limited entries into the housing estate, as these available entries are guarded. These cheapskate act certainly is a selfish approach opted by most citizens who had agreed with the Gated and Guarded system, as they do not need to pay more to hire more guards for these entries. Thus, this certainly is a TRAFFIC OBSTRUCTION, and is in violation of the guidelines laid down by the ‘Selangor Housing and Property Board and the local authorities’;

-ix. Not to prevent/obstruct passing vehicles from entering the guarded area. (HIGHLITED AGAIN, to support clause iv)

And I wonder why, the Municipal Council is putting a blind eye on these matters. Or are they being biased. Just an assumption.

So plans are underway for the Gated and Guarded system to be applied in USJ2’s housing estate. Since talks began, crime rates began to sore rapidly. The longer the discussion is, the rate will continue to rise. Before the talks began, the crime rates in USJ2 have never been this high. I assume, yes ASSUME, these are the acts of irresponsible SECURITY COMPANIES, that are currently having talks with the USJ 2 communities. They might be the one behind all the thefts and burglaries in USJ 2 recently. As to create havoc and a state of terror so that people in USJ 2 would agree with Gated and Guarded system proposal, and hire them as the guards.

I am not saying that Gated and Guarded system is wrong, but it must be done lawfully. The guards can jot down every vehicle’s registration number as a record, but not stopping these motorists and question them. If the community as a whole agrees with this proposal, please exercise it lawfully not selfishly by BLOCKING ROADS AND ENTRIES. Remember, Schools, Mosques and several business entities are in USJ 2, the unlawful system of STOP,CHECK, QUESTION and ROAD BARRICADING are not only a denial of rights towards the motorist, it is a nuisance as well. If majority supports this, remember, just because we are the residents of that housing estate, doesn’t mean we can make up our own laws. I’m a MALAYSIAN citizen, and we are too. Our identification card is a symbol of our oath to abide the laws in our country. Laws cover all the citizens, and it doesn’t exclude Housing Estate Communities. I would also like to call upon the relevant authorities to beef up.

I was supposed to write these on the post before this, It slipped my mind earlier

Most people would say that BMWs are fuel guzzlers. I just proved them wrong on the 5 Series.
The trip from Subang Jaya back to my Hometown Teluk Intan cost me around RM 20 or LESS. Less than a Proton Wira would consume.

Sexy Apple's Trip To Teluk Intan

"Keep rollin'-rollin'-rollin'-rollin', WHAT?!" "Now I know ya'll be lovin this right here." Mr. Fred Durst's words of wisdom. Truly is an inspiration for Sexy Apple.

As all of you might not know, Sexy has an ugly faded paint job on his ass. The paint is so ugly, it looked like fungus. To get it repainted in the Klang Valley is just too expensive. So I brought it back to my hometown, Teluk Intan, Perak, to repaint the whole body back, which would only cost a small fraction, than it is in the Klang Valley. So the initial plan was for me, to drive to Teluk Intan, leave Sexy Apple there to get his paint job, and me, back home on a bus.

Luckily, my Grandmother planned a Kenduri Doa Selamat for my parents in Teluk Intan, as they will be flying to Makkah this Friday to perform their Haj, Insya-Allah. So I scrapped the earlier plan, and so my family and I went back to Teluk Intan in two cars.

So with the new plan on the go, my younger sister managed to snap a few pictures of Sexy Apple rolling down the highway, from inside Captimus Prime.

So, Sexy will be repainted back to his original color which has an illusion of changing its shades from purple-to-black-to-maroon depending on the ligthing. If the paint man can't do the original color, I'll settle with maroon instead.

So here are some pictures of me driving Sexy Apple overtaking Captimus Prime;

Staring At Women's Breast Daily Extends Man's Life Up To 5 Years

" According to German research published in New England Journal of Medicine, men staring at women's breasts in fact prolong their lives with years. "Just 10 minutes of looking at the charms of a well-endowed females is equivalent to a 30-minute aerobics work-out," said author Dr. Karen Weatherby, a gerontologist."

So ladies, next time when you caught guys doing so. Please, we just want to live longer. Have mercy.

So guys, start staring, cause you ain't a pervert for keeping yourself physically and mentally healthy :)

"extended to 20 years"

Royal Air Force in Malay

I've been fascinated with planes since I was a young boy. As far as I can recount, it was my father who gave me this interest. The year was 1995, he went to LIMA 95. LIMA which stands for Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace exhibition. It's an exhibition on military equipment and commercial airplanes as well. And, he bought me a t-shirt of The Red Arrows, an aerobatic team from the UK's Royal Air Force. Since then I've always love air planes and so does military equipment. I've been to dozens of military and aircraft museum, in and out of the country. I even went to the National Science Centre, back in December of 2003 to celebrate the 100th year’s anniversary of the Wrights Brothers' first flight. I can even recognize what type an airplane is by the sound of its engine without even looking at it, when I was in my primary school years. I would go to Air Shows just to hear the roar coming from the jet engine. Somehow I missed the United States Air Force's Thunderbirds show in Subang Airport last October due to my final exams :( I was very frustrated, but nothing can be done. I've even climbed in quite a number of fighter jet's cockpit back then. It was all thanks to my father.

I'm now 19. 15 years after getting a pair of The Red Arrows' t-shirt, and my passion for planes has never fade. So throughout this boring, but much more interesting holiday rather than being in Kuantan, my daily routines are sitting in front of my laptop, watching Top Gear on YouTube and facebook-ing. So I chatted with my father, and he told me this; "There's this squadron from the UK's Royal Air Force. Their squadron's motto is in MALAY". I was like "VERY GOOD-CRAZY!" (Now that's a direct translation for "TERBAIK GILA!" in English), and grammatically corrected it means "That's Awesome".

Dictionary Corner By
Iylia H Dictionary of Contemporary English;
Squadron=group for Air Force's Planes

So today, the day went along very boring as always, but I managed to make it more interesting than staying in Kuantan by doing some research on this air force squadron that was told by my father earlier. And I found out that it was not just a squadron, but four squadrons of the
Royal Air Force which their mottos are in Malay. Normally their motto would mostly be in Latin and English like; "we kill at night". But these four squadrons are very unique indeed, due to their history of serving in Malaya. So at the end of my research, I managed to find all four squadrons' crest which bares their motto in Malay;

Royal Air Force's 205th Squadron
(Pertama Di-Malaya/The First in Malaya)
With a keris immortalize inside the crest

Royal Air Force's 230 Squadron
(Kita Chari Jauh/We Search Far)
With Palm trees which was abundant in Malaya
and a tiger, the symbol of Malaysia today

Royal Air Force's 100th Squadron
(Sarang Tebuang Jangan Dijolok/Never Disturb a Hornet's Nest)

Royal Air Force's 36th Squadron
(Rajawali Raja Langit/Eagle, The King of The Skies)
